The short answer: Rugiet is a real US telehealth company, and its best-selling ED product, Rugiet Ready, is a compounded under-the-tongue troche that combines sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine. A licensed provider must approve it, and Rugiet states that Ready is not FDA-approved. Rugiet does not post a price table on its product page. Its own comparison article puts Ready at about $7.29 a dose at the entry strength on a quarterly plan and up to $19.96 a dose at the 110 mg strength on monthly billing. If you mainly want the cheapest effective option, FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil from the partners below cost less per tablet.

ED Samples is independent and reader-supported. Rugiet is not one of our partners, and this page has no Rugiet affiliate link. We may earn a commission from the alternative providers listed below. That never changes what we report about Rugiet's products, prices or terms.

This article is educational and is not medical advice. It is for adults 18 and older. Every product discussed is a prescription medication that requires a consultation with a licensed clinician, who decides whether anything is prescribed. Prices and promotions change, so confirm current terms on each provider's own site before you order.

The short version

  • Is Rugiet legit? Yes. It is a US telehealth service where a licensed US doctor reviews a roughly 5-minute online questionnaire before anything is prescribed, and Rugiet says you are only charged if approved.
  • Rugiet Ready is a compounded troche with three active ingredients: sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine. Rugiet's own safety page says it is not FDA-approved and has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality.
  • Rugiet cost: no price table on the product page. Rugiet's own blog quotes about $7.29 a dose at entry strength on a quarterly plan, about $11.69 at the 110 mg sildenafil and 22 mg tadalafil strength at its best rate, and $19.96 a dose on monthly billing at that strength.
  • Rugiet says Ready works in about 15 minutes on average after it dissolves and lasts 24 to 36 hours. Its safety page says take one troche 15 to 30 minutes before sex, no more than one dose every 24 hours.
  • Apomorphine adds warnings that plain sildenafil or tadalafil do not carry, including nausea, drowsiness, a ban on anti-nausea drugs such as ondansetron, and caution with heart rhythm problems.
  • Cheaper per tablet: FDA-approved generic sildenafil as low as $3 and tadalafil as low as $5 at Nu Image Medical (12-month supply). For a similar apomorphine combination, Shed's compounded Rise tablet is listed from $66.33 a month.

Lowest Per-Tablet Price

Nu Image Medical ED Tablets

4.0Generic sildenafil tablet as low as $3/tablet and generic tadalafil as low as $5/tablet, each on a 12-month supply (provider-published, verify current)

A telehealth clinic founded in 2004, online since 2008 and available in all 50 states, that lists FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil tablets alongside compounded combination options.

Clinical oversight: Per-tablet prices published on the provider's own men's sexual performance page, with each product labeled FDA-approved or compounded. Every order is subject to a medical consultation and ships only if a licensed U.S. provider prescribes it.

Nu Image Medical is a telehealth clinic that says it was founded in 2004, has operated online since 2008 and is available in all 50 states. Its men's sexual performance line lists four options (all provider-published): a generic sildenafil tablet as low as $3 per tablet and a generic tadalafil tablet as low as $5 per tablet, both FDA-approved and both priced on a 12-month supply; a compounded sildenafil plus tadalafil rapid-dissolve tablet as low as $4 per tablet on a 5-month supply; and the compounded Mt. Everest program (tadalafil, oxytocin and PT-141) from $4 per tablet on a 5-month supply.

You share your goals online, a licensed U.S. provider reviews them, and medication ships discreetly only if it is prescribed.

The sildenafil and tadalafil tablets are FDA-approved generics. The combination tablets and the Mt. Everest program are compounded, and Nu Image's own page notes compounded medications are not approved by the FDA.

What we like

  • Lowest published per-tablet price we track on FDA-approved generics
  • Each product labeled FDA-approved or compounded
  • Available in all 50 states

Worth noting

  • Lowest prices require a 12-month supply
  • Combination and Mt. Everest products are compounded, not FDA-approved

Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want an FDA-approved generic tablet at a low per-tablet price and are comfortable buying a multi-month supply.

What we don't like: The lowest prices depend on a 12-month supply, so the up-front cost is higher than a one-month order, and the combination products are compounded rather than FDA-approved.

Bottom line: If you want the FDA-approved generic tablet and are fine buying a longer supply, Nu Image lists the lowest per-tablet prices we track: sildenafil as low as $3 and tadalafil as low as $5. The low figures are tied to a 12-month supply, so check the up-front total before you pay.

02 · Closest partner match to Ready: an apomorphine combination tablet with a published monthly price

Apomorphine Combination

Shed Steady (daily tadalafil)

4.0Steady daily tadalafil 5mg from $49.67/mo; Rise on-demand tablet from $66.33/mo (provider-published, verify current)

A 5-minute online intake for a daily tadalafil 5mg tablet listed from $49.67 a month.

Clinical oversight: Prices and ingredients published on the provider's product page, which also states the tablets are compounded and not FDA-approved. A licensed provider reviews the intake before anything is prescribed.

Shed's men's sexual health line has two products: Steady, a once-daily tadalafil 5mg tablet from $49.67 per month, and Rise, an on-demand tablet combining apomorphine, tadalafil and vardenafil from $66.33 per month, taken 15 to 60 minutes before sex (provider-published). Apomorphine is FDA-approved for Parkinson's disease "off" episodes, not for ED. You complete a roughly 5-minute online intake, and a licensed provider decides whether to prescribe.

Shed states on its own product page that both tablets are compounded and not FDA-approved. If you want the FDA-approved generic tadalafil tablet specifically, a pharmacy option like HealthyMale is the closer match.

  • Check plan length behind the monthly price

Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want a daily tadalafil routine at the lowest published monthly price and are comfortable with a compounded tablet.

What we don't like: Compounded rather than FDA-approved generic tablets, and the lowest monthly figure may assume a longer plan, so check the billing terms.

Bottom line: Shed publishes the lowest monthly price we track for a daily tadalafil plan, from $49.67 a month for 5mg. The trade-off is disclosed on its own page: both its ED tablets are compounded, not FDA-approved. A good fit if daily dosing is what a clinician recommends and price matters most.

HealthyMale logo

HealthyMale

4.5Advertised new-customer intro offers (style of 20 generic ED pills for $39); regular generic sildenafil and tadalafil from ~$20; free doctor consult advertised with purchase (verify current offer at checkout)

A long-running US men's-health pharmacy whose new-customer intro pricing on FDA-approved generics is the nearest legitimate equivalent to a free sample.

Clinical oversight: Verifiable accreditation (VIPPS pharmacies, LegitScript, HIPAA) and unusually transparent itemized pricing; intro offers rotate through its promotional channels, so confirm the current one on the site before you order.

HealthyMale is one of the longest-operating men's-health telehealth pharmacies in the US, reporting operations since 1998 and pairing US-licensed physicians with VIPPS-certified pharmacies. It matters for this page for one reason: its published pricing and rotating new-customer offers get closer to "free sample" territory than anything else we could verify in this category.

What the intro offer looks like. Through its promotional and affiliate channels, HealthyMale has advertised introductory bundles for first-time customers in the style of 20 generic ED pills for $39. That works out to roughly two dollars a dose for FDA-approved generic medication, prescribed by a licensed physician, from an accredited pharmacy. Intro offers rotate and terms change, so treat that as an example of the style of offer rather than a quote, and verify the current deal on the HealthyMale site.

Even at regular prices, generic sildenafil and generic tadalafil are advertised starting around $20, the site advertises a free doctor consultation and free prescription with purchase, and ordering is a-la-carte with no forced subscription. The gap between that and "free" is small enough that chasing sketchy free-pill sites makes no sense.

Access runs through a phone consultation with a US-licensed physician, and a prescription is issued only at the clinician's discretion, which is exactly what a legitimate offer should require. For trust signals, the site displays LegitScript verification, HIPAA compliance, and VIPPS-certified pharmacies.

  • FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil from ~$20 at regular prices
  • Free doctor consultation advertised with purchase
  • No forced subscription; VIPPS, LegitScript, and HIPAA trust signals

Worth noting

  • No literally free product, a consult and purchase are still required
  • Intro offers rotate, the exact bundle changes, verify before ordering
  • Phone consult rather than on-demand video

Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who came looking for a free sample and want the legitimate near-equivalent: a low-cost first order of FDA-approved generics from an accredited pharmacy, with an advertised free consult and no subscription commitment.

What we don't like: Intro offers rotate and are not always identical, so the exact bundle you see may differ from what was advertised elsewhere; the consult is by phone rather than video.

Bottom line: If you searched for free ED samples, this is the offer to check first: HealthyMale has advertised introductory bundles for new customers in the style of 20 generic ED pills for $39, pairs them with an advertised free physician consultation with purchase, and sells FDA-approved generics from around $20 with no subscription. Verify the current intro offer on its site, promotions change.

04 · Low per-dose price with several ED options in one clinic

Regenics Sexual Wellness

3.9Treatments advertised from $4.25/dose; membership required (the site shows "Join for $39"), verify current

A men's health clinic offering sildenafil, tadalafil, PT-141 and a combination blend after a free online questionnaire.

Clinical oversight: Per-dose starting price and product list published on the provider's sexual wellness page; a licensed provider reviews a free online questionnaire before prescribing. Some formulations are compounded.

Regenics lists sildenafil, tadalafil (which it notes also treats BPH symptoms), a three-ingredient "Passion Blend" and PT-141 on its sexual wellness page, with treatments advertised "as low as $4.25/dose." The process is a free online questionnaire, a review by a licensed medical provider, then discreet delivery; insurance is not required. Membership is required to purchase.

Blends and PT-141 are not the same as FDA-approved generic sildenafil or tadalafil tablets. PT-141 (bremelanotide) is FDA-approved only as Vyleesi for premenopausal women with low sexual desire, not for men or for ED. Ask which product you are being prescribed and whether it is compounded.

Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want a single clinic for ED medication plus other men's health options and do not mind a membership.

What we don't like: Membership required, and per-product prices are not itemized on the public page.

Bottom line: Regenics is worth a look if you want sildenafil or tadalafil alongside other options like PT-141 from one clinic, with treatments advertised from $4.25 a dose. Membership is required and individual product prices are not itemized on the page, so compare the full cost before committing.

05 · One video visit, then fill a cheap generic at any pharmacy

Best Single-Visit Option
DrHouse logo

DrHouse

4.3Visit $129 or your insurance copay; medication filled and priced separately at the pharmacy you choose (verify)

An on-demand video telehealth platform where a single visit, possibly covered by insurance, gets you a real prescription you can fill cheaply at any pharmacy.

Clinical oversight: LegitScript-approved and HIPAA-compliant with stated 50-state availability and a published visit price; the medication cost depends on the drug and pharmacy you pick, so the total is in your control but not fixed up front.

DrHouse approaches the sample question from the other side: instead of bundling medication, it makes the clinical visit itself fast and low-commitment. It is an on-demand telehealth platform, LegitScript-approved and HIPAA-compliant, available in all 50 states, where the company states a provider can join a video visit in roughly 15 minutes.

Why that matters for sample hunters. The ED visit is listed at $129 or your insurance copay, and DrHouse states insurance may cover the visit. When clinically appropriate, the physician e-prescribes sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, avanafil, or alprostadil to the pharmacy of your choice, where the medication is priced separately. Generic sildenafil and tadalafil are inexpensive at many US pharmacies, especially with discount programs, so a copay visit plus a small generic fill can be one of the cheapest compliant ways to start.

There is no subscription and no bundled auto-ship: you pay for one visit, you get one prescription decision from a licensed physician, and you control where and whether to fill it. That is the honest version of "just let me try it."

DrHouse does not prescribe controlled substances, and a prescription is never guaranteed, the clinician decides. If you want an all-in bundle with medication included, HealthyMale's model will feel simpler; if you want clinical speed and pharmacy flexibility, DrHouse is the one.

  • Insurance may cover the visit, potentially reducing it to a copay
  • E-prescribes to any pharmacy, so you can shop the lowest generic price
  • Fast: provider joins by video in about 15 minutes, per the company

Worth noting

  • Medication priced separately, no bundled total
  • Visit fee applies regardless of the prescribing decision
  • No physical product ever ships from DrHouse itself

Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want a one-time, no-subscription evaluation from a licensed physician, would like the chance to put insurance toward the visit, and are comfortable filling a generic prescription at their own pharmacy.

What we don't like: You have to price the medication yourself at the pharmacy, so there is no single all-in number to compare, and the visit fee applies even if the clinician decides medication is not appropriate.

Bottom line: The smart pick if your real question behind 'free samples' is 'what would this cost me to just try, once': one video visit at $129 or your copay, no subscription, and an e-prescription you can fill as a cheap generic at whatever pharmacy prices it lowest.

Rugiet reviews: what customers report

Rugiet's published reviews are strongly positive, and almost all of them come from Rugiet's own pages. On October 30, 2026, the Rugiet Ready product page showed a 4.3 rating across 1,208 reviews, the homepage said "700k+ men choose Rugiet," and the site said it is rated Excellent on Trustpilot. The Ready page also says 85% of men feel more confident and 80% prefer Rugiet to other ED treatments, figures Rugiet attributes to an internal survey of 114 active Ready patients in May 2025.

Treat those numbers for what they are: company-selected testimonials and a company survey, not independent research. The reviews Rugiet features praise speed, the under-the-tongue format and effects that last into the next day. The things to check yourself are the ones testimonials rarely cover: side effects (apomorphine can cause nausea and dizziness), the subscription renewal date, and whether a cheaper single-ingredient generic would work for you. Customer reviews are individual experiences, not proof a product will work for you.

What is Rugiet Ready?

Rugiet Ready is a compounded prescription troche for ED that combines three active ingredients: sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine. A troche is a lozenge you dissolve under the tongue. Rugiet calls Ready its best seller and describes it as a "brain and body" formula: sildenafil and tadalafil are PDE5 inhibitors that improve blood flow, and apomorphine acts on dopamine receptors in the brain.

  • Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra. FDA-approved for ED as a swallowed tablet.
  • Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis. FDA-approved for ED, and it is why Ready can last up to 36 hours.
  • Apomorphine is a dopamine agonist. It is FDA-approved for Parkinson's disease "off" episodes, not for ED.

Rugiet's safety page says Ready is intended only for men 18 and older, and that although its ingredients are FDA-approved for other uses, Ready itself is not FDA-approved. Rugiet says Ready is customizable: your doctor can lower or remove an ingredient if you are allergic to it or dislike it, and Rugiet's blog describes dose tiers it calls Low, Medium, Most Popular and Max. The only exact strength Rugiet names publicly is a 110 mg sildenafil and 22 mg tadalafil tier. It does not publish the apomorphine dose per tier, so ask the prescriber.

Rugiet cost and pricing

Rugiet does not publish a price table on its Ready page. The per-dose figures it does publish come from its own blog: about $7.29 a dose at the entry strength on a quarterly plan, about $11.69 a dose at the 110 mg sildenafil and 22 mg tadalafil strength at its best rate, and $19.96 a dose at that strength on monthly billing with 24 doses a month. Rugiet's article says it verified those prices from checkout in June 2026 and that prices change. At $19.96 a dose, 24 doses is about $479 a month, so the strength and quantity you choose matter more than the headline price.

  • Included: Rugiet says the price covers the consultation, the medication and unlimited follow-ups with your doctor if you are approved.
  • Promotion on October 30, 2026: the site banner read "Buy 2 months of Ready, get 1 free."
  • Appreciation discount: 15% off eligible purchases for verified military members and veterans, first responders, nurses and educators. Rugiet says it does not combine with other promotions.
  • HSA and FSA: Rugiet says Ready qualifies; confirm with your plan.

For comparison, FDA-approved generic sildenafil is one of the cheapest prescriptions in men's health. Nu Image Medical lists it as low as $3 a tablet on a 12-month supply, and HealthyMale lists generics from about $20 with no subscription (provider-published; verify current).

Is Rugiet legit?

Yes. Rugiet is a legitimate US telehealth company, and every prescription goes through a licensed US doctor who reviews your medical questionnaire. Rugiet says its prescriptions are written by board-certified physicians, filled by licensed US compounding pharmacies, and that you are only charged if approved. It lists a medical team and advisory board of named urologists and physicians on its site, a customer care phone line and email, and a member app for doctor messages and refills.

"Legit" and "FDA-approved" are different questions. Ready is a compounded drug. Compounding is a legal, regulated pharmacy practice, but the FDA does not review a compounded product for safety, effectiveness or quality before it is sold. The performance claims on Rugiet's pages, such as onset and preference figures, come from Rugiet's own customer surveys rather than published clinical trials of the finished product.

Rugiet ED treatments

Rugiet sells several ED products, and Ready is the one it leads with. On October 30, 2026, its sexual health line included:

  • Ready: as-needed sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine troche.
  • Grower: a once-daily pill combining tadalafil for ED and minoxidil for hair growth.
  • Daily Boost: a daily product combining tadalafil with DHEA.
  • Go Long: a product for premature ejaculation.

Rugiet also sells testosterone, peptide, sleep, weight and hair treatments. If daily tadalafil is what a clinician recommends, compare Grower and Daily Boost with plain daily generic tadalafil, which is FDA-approved and inexpensive. See our daily vs as-needed tadalafil guide.

How fast Rugiet Ready works and how long it lasts

Rugiet says Ready works in about 15 minutes on average after the troche dissolves, and its effects typically last 24 to 36 hours. The 15-minute figure comes from Rugiet's survey of 114 active Ready patients. Rugiet's safety page tells patients to take one troche 15 to 30 minutes before planned sex, with 30 minutes recommended, and says the troche takes 5 to 10 minutes to dissolve. Do not chew or swallow it, and avoid eating or drinking while it dissolves.

The long window comes from tadalafil. It does not mean a 36-hour erection. It means sexual stimulation can produce an erection more easily during that window. For comparison, MedlinePlus says standard sildenafil tablets can be taken 30 minutes to 4 hours before sex. Rugiet says the medication may stay in the body longer for people with liver or kidney disease.

Rugiet side effects and safety

Rugiet lists headache, flushing, skin rash, vision changes or blue-tinted vision, indigestion, mouth irritation, stuffy nose, dizziness, nausea, back pain and muscle aches as the common side effects of Ready. Most come from the PDE5 inhibitors. Nausea, dizziness and drowsiness are more typical of apomorphine.

Rugiet's own safety page says do not take Ready if you:

  • Take any nitrate, such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, or use "poppers"
  • Take a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat or vericiguat
  • Take a 5-HT3 blocker anti-nausea or IBS drug such as ondansetron (Zofran), granisetron, dolasetron, palonosetron or alosetron
  • Are allergic to sildenafil, tadalafil or apomorphine, or have been told sex is not safe for your heart

It also warns about low blood pressure with alpha blockers and blood pressure drugs, possible QT prolongation (a heart rhythm effect), hallucinations or impulse-control changes, daytime drowsiness, and interactions with grapefruit, heavy alcohol and cannabis. Rugiet says Ready is not intended for regular daily use, and that people who have used it regularly should not stop suddenly.

Get emergency care for chest pain, fainting, an erection lasting more than 4 hours, or sudden loss of vision or hearing. If you get chest pain while on Ready, do not treat it with nitrates.

How the Rugiet consult works

You complete a roughly 5-minute online health questionnaire, a licensed US doctor reviews it for free, and the medication ships only if the doctor prescribes it. Rugiet says doctors look at your medications, other conditions, lifestyle, the severity of your ED, your age and what ED medication you have tried before. Delivery timing differs by page: the homepage says medication arrives within 48 hours, and the Ready page says 4 to 7 days. List every medication you take, including over-the-counter products, because several common drugs disqualify you or need a closer look.

Subscription and cancellation terms

Rugiet's terms say some products must be bought on subscription, and your card is charged automatically at the interval shown at checkout. You can cancel up to 48 hours before the monthly processing date by turning off auto-refill in the member portal. A plan only saves money if you use what it ships. Divide the bill by the doses you will actually take, and set a reminder before the renewal date.

Compounded, not FDA-approved

Rugiet states that Ready "is NOT FDA-approved and has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality for any use." The FDA says compounded drugs can serve patients whose needs an approved drug cannot meet, but the agency does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil must match the brand's active ingredient and meet FDA standards for strength and purity. If you have not tried a generic yet, that is the lower-cost, FDA-reviewed starting point. Ask the prescriber why a compounded combination makes sense for you.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Fast online questionnaire, and Rugiet says you pay only if approved
  • Under-the-tongue format that does not need to be timed around meals
  • Doctor can adjust or remove an ingredient
  • Consult, medication and unlimited follow-ups included, per Rugiet
  • HSA and FSA eligible, plus a 15% appreciation discount for eligible groups

Cons

  • Compounded, not FDA-approved
  • No price table on the product page; you see the price late in the process
  • Apomorphine adds side effects and drug interactions plain generics do not have
  • Performance claims come from Rugiet's own surveys
  • Subscription renews unless you cancel 48 hours ahead

Who Rugiet suits

Rugiet Ready suits an adult whose clinician agrees a combination product is appropriate, who wants an under-the-tongue troche, and who is comfortable with a compounded medication after understanding what that means.

Consider an FDA-approved generic first if you have not tried sildenafil or tadalafil, use ED medication occasionally, want to avoid a subscription, or want the lowest price per dose. Nu Image Medical and HealthyMale (cards above) sell the generic tablet. Comparing the two biggest combination brands? See Rugiet vs BlueChew, our BlueChew review and our Ro Sparks review.

Yes. Rugiet is a US telehealth company where a licensed US doctor reviews an online questionnaire before prescribing, and its medication is made by licensed US compounding pharmacies. The main caveat is that Rugiet Ready is compounded and not FDA-approved.

How much does Rugiet cost?

Rugiet does not post a price table on its product page. Its own blog quotes Ready at about $7.29 a dose at entry strength on a quarterly plan, about $11.69 a dose at the 110 mg strength at its best rate, and $19.96 a dose on monthly billing at that strength. Rugiet says it verified those figures in June 2026; check checkout for the current price.

What is in Rugiet Ready?

Three active ingredients: sildenafil and tadalafil, which improve blood flow, and apomorphine, which acts on dopamine receptors in the brain. It is a compounded troche dissolved under the tongue. The one strength Rugiet names publicly pairs 110 mg sildenafil with 22 mg tadalafil.

Is Rugiet Ready FDA-approved?

No. Rugiet's safety page says Ready is a compounded medication that is not FDA-approved and has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Its ingredients are FDA-approved in other forms and for other uses.

How long does Rugiet Ready last?

Rugiet says the effects typically last 24 to 36 hours, mostly because of the tadalafil. That is a window in which stimulation can produce an erection more easily, not a constant erection. An erection lasting more than 4 hours needs emergency care.

How fast does Rugiet work?

Rugiet says about 15 minutes on average after the troche dissolves, based on its own survey of 114 patients. Its safety page says take it 15 to 30 minutes before sex, with 30 minutes recommended. Results vary.

What are Rugiet's side effects?

Rugiet lists headache, flushing, rash, vision changes, upset stomach, mouth irritation, stuffy nose, dizziness, nausea, back pain and muscle aches. Do not take it with nitrates, poppers, riociguat or anti-nausea drugs such as ondansetron. This is educational information, not medical advice.

Can I cancel Rugiet anytime?

Rugiet's terms say you can cancel a subscription up to 48 hours before the monthly processing date by turning off auto-refill in the member portal.

What is cheaper than Rugiet?

FDA-approved generic tablets usually are. Nu Image Medical lists generic sildenafil as low as $3 and tadalafil as low as $5 per tablet on a 12-month supply, and HealthyMale lists generics from about $20 with no subscription. Provider-published prices; verify current terms.
