Check price →Read review ↓The short answer: Rugiet Ready and BlueChew Gold are close cousins. Both are compounded tablets you dissolve under the tongue, both combine sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine, and both are prescribed after an online consult. Gold adds a fourth ingredient, oxytocin. At matching strength the price is almost identical: $19.96 a dose for 24 doses a month at the 110 mg sildenafil and 22 mg tadalafil strength on monthly billing for both. The bigger differences are price transparency (BlueChew publishes a full table, Rugiet does not), BlueChew's cheaper single-ingredient tablets, and cancellation windows.
ED Samples is independent. Neither Rugiet nor BlueChew is one of our partners, and this page has no affiliate link to either. We may earn a commission from the alternative providers listed further down, and that never changes how we describe Rugiet or BlueChew.
This article is educational and is not medical advice. It is for adults 18 and older. Every product discussed requires a consultation with a licensed clinician, who decides whether anything is prescribed. Prices change, so confirm current pricing on rugiet.com and bluechew.com before you order.
The short version
- Both are compounded, not FDA-approved, and both dissolve under the tongue. Both are prescribed by a licensed provider after an online intake.
- Ingredients: Rugiet Ready has sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine. BlueChew Gold has the same three plus oxytocin.
- Price at the same strength (110 mg sildenafil, 22 mg tadalafil, 24 doses a month): $19.96 a dose for both on monthly billing. On quarterly plans, Gold Extra is $12.99 a dose and Rugiet says Ready is about $11.69.
- Lowest entry price: Gold from $7.30 a dose (Base, 24 a month, quarterly); Rugiet says Ready is about $7.29 a dose on its quarterly plan. BlueChew also sells single-ingredient SIL from $3.53 a tablet; Rugiet's ED line has no single-ingredient as-needed tablet.
- Both say they work in about 15 minutes after dissolving and last up to 36 hours because of the tadalafil.
- Cheaper than either: FDA-approved generic sildenafil as low as $3 and tadalafil as low as $5 a tablet at Nu Image Medical (12-month supply).

01 · FDA-approved generic tablets at a fraction of Ready or Gold per dose
Lowest Per-Tablet PriceNu Image Medical ED Tablets
A telehealth clinic founded in 2004, online since 2008 and available in all 50 states, that lists FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil tablets alongside compounded combination options.
Clinical oversight: Per-tablet prices published on the provider's own men's sexual performance page, with each product labeled FDA-approved or compounded. Every order is subject to a medical consultation and ships only if a licensed U.S. provider prescribes it.
Nu Image Medical is a telehealth clinic that says it was founded in 2004, has operated online since 2008 and is available in all 50 states. Its men's sexual performance line lists four options (all provider-published): a generic sildenafil tablet as low as $3 per tablet and a generic tadalafil tablet as low as $5 per tablet, both FDA-approved and both priced on a 12-month supply; a compounded sildenafil plus tadalafil rapid-dissolve tablet as low as $4 per tablet on a 5-month supply; and the compounded Mt. Everest program (tadalafil, oxytocin and PT-141) from $4 per tablet on a 5-month supply.
You share your goals online, a licensed U.S. provider reviews them, and medication ships discreetly only if it is prescribed.

What we like
- Lowest published per-tablet price we track on FDA-approved generics
- Each product labeled FDA-approved or compounded
- Available in all 50 states
Worth noting
- Lowest prices require a 12-month supply
- Combination and Mt. Everest products are compounded, not FDA-approved
Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want an FDA-approved generic tablet at a low per-tablet price and are comfortable buying a multi-month supply.
What we don't like: The lowest prices depend on a 12-month supply, so the up-front cost is higher than a one-month order, and the combination products are compounded rather than FDA-approved.
Bottom line: If you want the FDA-approved generic tablet and are fine buying a longer supply, Nu Image lists the lowest per-tablet prices we track: sildenafil as low as $3 and tadalafil as low as $5. The low figures are tied to a 12-month supply, so check the up-front total before you pay.

HealthyMale
A long-running US men's-health pharmacy whose new-customer intro pricing on FDA-approved generics is the nearest legitimate equivalent to a free sample.
Clinical oversight: Verifiable accreditation (VIPPS pharmacies, LegitScript, HIPAA) and unusually transparent itemized pricing; intro offers rotate through its promotional channels, so confirm the current one on the site before you order.
HealthyMale is one of the longest-operating men's-health telehealth pharmacies in the US, reporting operations since 1998 and pairing US-licensed physicians with VIPPS-certified pharmacies. It matters for this page for one reason: its published pricing and rotating new-customer offers get closer to "free sample" territory than anything else we could verify in this category.
What the intro offer looks like. Through its promotional and affiliate channels, HealthyMale has advertised introductory bundles for first-time customers in the style of 20 generic ED pills for $39. That works out to roughly two dollars a dose for FDA-approved generic medication, prescribed by a licensed physician, from an accredited pharmacy. Intro offers rotate and terms change, so treat that as an example of the style of offer rather than a quote, and verify the current deal on the HealthyMale site.
Access runs through a phone consultation with a US-licensed physician, and a prescription is issued only at the clinician's discretion, which is exactly what a legitimate offer should require. For trust signals, the site displays LegitScript verification, HIPAA compliance, and VIPPS-certified pharmacies.

What we like
- Advertised new-customer intro bundles, the closest verifiable thing to a free ED sample
- FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil from ~$20 at regular prices
- Free doctor consultation advertised with purchase
- No forced subscription; VIPPS, LegitScript, and HIPAA trust signals
Worth noting
- No literally free product, a consult and purchase are still required
- Intro offers rotate, the exact bundle changes, verify before ordering
- Phone consult rather than on-demand video
Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who came looking for a free sample and want the legitimate near-equivalent: a low-cost first order of FDA-approved generics from an accredited pharmacy, with an advertised free consult and no subscription commitment.
What we don't like: Intro offers rotate and are not always identical, so the exact bundle you see may differ from what was advertised elsewhere; the consult is by phone rather than video.
Bottom line: If you searched for free ED samples, this is the offer to check first: HealthyMale has advertised introductory bundles for new customers in the style of 20 generic ED pills for $39, pairs them with an advertised free physician consultation with purchase, and sells FDA-approved generics from around $20 with no subscription. Verify the current intro offer on its site, promotions change.
03 · An apomorphine combination tablet with a published monthly price
Apomorphine CombinationShed Steady (daily tadalafil)
A 5-minute online intake for a daily tadalafil 5mg tablet listed from $49.67 a month.
Clinical oversight: Prices and ingredients published on the provider's product page, which also states the tablets are compounded and not FDA-approved. A licensed provider reviews the intake before anything is prescribed.
Shed's men's sexual health line has two products: Steady, a once-daily tadalafil 5mg tablet from $49.67 per month, and Rise, an on-demand tablet combining apomorphine, tadalafil and vardenafil from $66.33 per month, taken 15 to 60 minutes before sex (provider-published). Apomorphine is FDA-approved for Parkinson's disease "off" episodes, not for ED. You complete a roughly 5-minute online intake, and a licensed provider decides whether to prescribe.

What we like
- Lowest published daily tadalafil price we track
- Fast online intake
- Daily and on-demand options
Worth noting
- Compounded, not FDA-approved
- Check plan length behind the monthly price
Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want a daily tadalafil routine at the lowest published monthly price and are comfortable with a compounded tablet.
What we don't like: Compounded rather than FDA-approved generic tablets, and the lowest monthly figure may assume a longer plan, so check the billing terms.
Bottom line: Shed publishes the lowest monthly price we track for a daily tadalafil plan, from $49.67 a month for 5mg. The trade-off is disclosed on its own page: both its ED tablets are compounded, not FDA-approved. A good fit if daily dosing is what a clinician recommends and price matters most.
04 · One flat monthly price for sildenafil or tadalafil
Lowest Monthly PriceBayan Health ED Capsules
A telehealth clinic that lists sildenafil or tadalafil capsules at $49 a month, the lowest monthly figure we found.
Clinical oversight: Price published on the provider's own men's sexual health page; prescribing happens after an online intake reviewed by a licensed clinician. Capsules are a pharmacy-prepared format, so ask whether yours are compounded.
Bayan Health is a telehealth clinic whose men's sexual health line lists sildenafil or tadalafil capsules at $49 per month each on a 3-month subscription, alongside a combination "performance stack" (all provider-published). You complete an online intake, a licensed clinician reviews it, and medication ships only if it is prescribed.

- Approved partner
- Published price

- Consult
- Online intake reviewed by a licensed clinician
- Subscription
- Yes, 3-month plan
What we like
- Lowest published monthly price we track
- Fully online intake
- Also offers the other PDE5 option if a clinician prefers it
Worth noting
- 3-month subscription, not a one-time trial
- Dose per capsule not listed on the category page
- Capsule format may be compounded, confirm before ordering
Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want a flat monthly price and are comfortable committing to a 3-month plan.
What we don't like: The $49 figure is tied to a 3-month subscription, the page does not list the dose per capsule, and capsules may be compounded rather than the FDA-approved generic tablet.
Bottom line: If you want a predictable monthly cost rather than a per-pill price, Bayan lists sildenafil or tadalafil capsules at $49 a month on a 3-month plan. It is not a sample, and the plan length matters, but it is the lowest monthly number on a provider's own page among the options we track.
05 · A live video visit, then fill a generic at any pharmacy
Best Single-Visit OptionDrHouse
An on-demand video telehealth platform where a single visit, possibly covered by insurance, gets you a real prescription you can fill cheaply at any pharmacy.
Clinical oversight: LegitScript-approved and HIPAA-compliant with stated 50-state availability and a published visit price; the medication cost depends on the drug and pharmacy you pick, so the total is in your control but not fixed up front.
DrHouse approaches the sample question from the other side: instead of bundling medication, it makes the clinical visit itself fast and low-commitment. It is an on-demand telehealth platform, LegitScript-approved and HIPAA-compliant, available in all 50 states, where the company states a provider can join a video visit in roughly 15 minutes.
Why that matters for sample hunters. The ED visit is listed at $129 or your insurance copay, and DrHouse states insurance may cover the visit. When clinically appropriate, the physician e-prescribes sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, avanafil, or alprostadil to the pharmacy of your choice, where the medication is priced separately. Generic sildenafil and tadalafil are inexpensive at many US pharmacies, especially with discount programs, so a copay visit plus a small generic fill can be one of the cheapest compliant ways to start.
DrHouse does not prescribe controlled substances, and a prescription is never guaranteed, the clinician decides. If you want an all-in bundle with medication included, HealthyMale's model will feel simpler; if you want clinical speed and pharmacy flexibility, DrHouse is the one.
- Status
- Approved partner
- Closest thing

- Consult
- On-demand video visit (~15 min), all 50 states
- Insurance

- Subscription
- None
- Credentials
- LegitScript-approved, HIPAA-compliant
What we like
- One-time visit, no subscription or auto-ship
- Insurance may cover the visit, potentially reducing it to a copay
- E-prescribes to any pharmacy, so you can shop the lowest generic price
- Fast: provider joins by video in about 15 minutes, per the company
Worth noting
- Medication priced separately, no bundled total
- Visit fee applies regardless of the prescribing decision
- No physical product ever ships from DrHouse itself
Who should buy it: Adults 18+ who want a one-time, no-subscription evaluation from a licensed physician, would like the chance to put insurance toward the visit, and are comfortable filling a generic prescription at their own pharmacy.
What we don't like: You have to price the medication yourself at the pharmacy, so there is no single all-in number to compare, and the visit fee applies even if the clinician decides medication is not appropriate.
Bottom line: The smart pick if your real question behind 'free samples' is 'what would this cost me to just try, once': one video visit at $129 or your copay, no subscription, and an e-prescription you can fill as a cheap generic at whatever pharmacy prices it lowest.
Rugiet vs BlueChew at a glance
Choose BlueChew if you want published prices up front and the option of a cheap single-ingredient tablet. Choose Rugiet if you specifically want a three-ingredient combination without oxytocin and a doctor who can adjust or remove ingredients. Both are online, subscription-based and compounded. Both lead with a premium combination product: Rugiet Ready and BlueChew Gold. Each brand's own pages say its product works in about 15 minutes after dissolving and lasts up to 36 hours.
- Format: Ready is a troche (lozenge) that dissolves under the tongue in 5 to 10 minutes. Gold is a sublingual tablet.
- Strengths: Gold comes in three fixed strengths (Base, High, Extra). Rugiet says Ready is customized by your doctor across tiers it calls Low, Medium, Most Popular and Max.
- Other ED products: BlueChew also sells SIL, TAD, VAR, MAX, VMAX and DailyTAD. Rugiet also sells Grower (daily tadalafil plus minoxidil) and Daily Boost (tadalafil plus DHEA).
For full single-brand detail, see our Rugiet review and BlueChew review.
Ingredients: Rugiet Ready vs BlueChew Gold
Rugiet Ready contains sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine. BlueChew Gold contains the same three plus oxytocin. Sildenafil and tadalafil are PDE5 inhibitors, FDA-approved for ED as tablets. Apomorphine is a dopamine agonist FDA-approved for Parkinson's disease "off" episodes, not for ED. Oxytocin is a hormone, FDA-approved as an injection for use in labor and delivery, not for ED.
BlueChew publishes each Gold strength:
- Base: sildenafil 70 mg, tadalafil 18 mg, apomorphine 2 mg, oxytocin 160 IU
- High: sildenafil 90 mg, tadalafil 22 mg, apomorphine 3 mg, oxytocin 200 IU
- Extra: sildenafil 110 mg, tadalafil 22 mg, apomorphine 4 mg, oxytocin 240 IU
Rugiet names only one exact Ready strength publicly, 110 mg sildenafil with 22 mg tadalafil, and does not publish the apomorphine dose per tier. Ask the prescriber for the full strength of what you will receive. Rugiet's own comparison argues oxytocin adds little because it has no established role in ED and absorbs poorly under the tongue. That is a competitor's argument, so weigh it as such, but it matches the fact that oxytocin is not part of standard ED treatment guidance.
Price comparison: Rugiet vs BlueChew
At the same strength the two cost almost exactly the same. The difference is that BlueChew publishes every price, and Rugiet does not. BlueChew's own Gold pricing article lists all 24 combinations of strength, quantity and billing. Rugiet shows the price during sign-up, and the only per-dose figures it has published are in its own comparison article, which it says it checked against both checkouts in June 2026. Rugiet's figures for Gold match BlueChew's own table.
- Entry price: Gold Base is $7.30 a dose at 24 a month on a quarterly plan. Rugiet says Ready's quarterly plan is about $7.29 a dose.
- 110 mg sildenafil and 22 mg tadalafil, quarterly: Gold Extra is $12.99 a dose at 24 a month. Rugiet says Ready is about $11.69 a dose at its best rate.
- Same strength, monthly billing, 24 doses: $19.96 a dose for both, about $479 a month.
- Smaller plans cost more per dose: Gold Extra is $23.17 a dose at 6 a month on monthly billing. Rugiet did not publish small-plan prices.
BlueChew's cheapest products are not Gold. SIL (sildenafil) starts at $3.53 a tablet, VAR at $4.34 and TAD at $4.47, with plans from $20 a month. Rugiet has no comparable single-ingredient as-needed tablet. For full BlueChew pricing, see our BlueChew price guide.
Discounts and promotions
On October 30, 2026, Rugiet's site banner read "Buy 2 months of Ready, get 1 free," and BlueChew's homepage read "Try 2 months of Gold, Get 1 FREE!" BlueChew also says new patients get 10% off the first order and offers a 20% lifetime discount to eligible military members, first responders and other listed professions. Rugiet offers 15% off for verified military members and veterans, first responders, nurses and educators, and says that discount does not stack with other promotions. Both accept HSA and FSA payments, according to their own pages.
Onset and duration
Both brands say about 15 minutes after the tablet dissolves, with effects lasting up to 36 hours. Rugiet's 15-minute figure comes from its own survey of active Ready patients, and its safety page tells patients to take Ready 15 to 30 minutes before sex, with 30 minutes recommended. BlueChew says Gold typically starts in 15 to 30 minutes. In both products the long window comes from tadalafil. Neither means a constant erection, and sexual stimulation is still needed. For comparison, MedlinePlus says standard sildenafil tablets can be taken 30 minutes to 4 hours before sex.
Side effects and safety
The side effects overlap because the active ingredients overlap: headache, flushing, stuffy nose, upset stomach, back or muscle pain, dizziness and nausea. Apomorphine in both products can add nausea, dizziness and drowsiness. BlueChew also lists mild headache, flushing, nausea and blood pressure changes for oxytocin, and says its tablets can tint the tongue blue.
Rugiet's safety page spells out a longer list of who should not take Ready, and the same cautions apply to any apomorphine combination:
- No nitrates or "poppers" and no riociguat or vericiguat, because of a dangerous blood pressure drop
- No 5-HT3 anti-nausea drugs such as ondansetron (Zofran)
- Caution with alpha blockers, blood pressure drugs, heart rhythm problems and antipsychotic medications
- One dose per 24 hours at most
Consult, shipping and cancellation
- Consult: Rugiet uses a roughly 5-minute questionnaire reviewed by a licensed US doctor, and says you are charged only if approved. BlueChew says a licensed provider usually reviews its intake within 24 hours.
- Shipping: BlueChew says orders usually ship within 24 hours of approval. Rugiet's homepage says within 48 hours and its Ready page says 4 to 7 days.
- Availability: BlueChew ships to every state except North Dakota. Rugiet says availability varies by state.
- Cancellation: BlueChew requires you to cancel or pause at least 24 hours before renewal. Rugiet's terms require 48 hours before the monthly processing date, by turning off auto-refill in its portal.
- Follow-ups: Rugiet says unlimited doctor follow-ups are included and your doctor can change the formula.
Which one to choose
- Choose BlueChew if you want to see every price before you start, or want a single-ingredient tablet from $3.53.
- Choose Rugiet if you and a clinician want an apomorphine combination without oxytocin and a formula your doctor can adjust.
- Choose neither if you have not tried a generic yet, use ED medication occasionally, or want an FDA-approved product. Generic sildenafil and tadalafil from Nu Image Medical or HealthyMale (cards above) cost less per dose than either combination.

Questions, answered
Is Rugiet better than BlueChew?
Neither is clearly better. Rugiet Ready and BlueChew Gold share sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine, and Gold adds oxytocin. At matched strength they cost about the same. BlueChew publishes all its prices and sells cheaper single-ingredient tablets; Rugiet lets your doctor adjust the formula. Both are compounded, not FDA-approved.
What is the difference between Rugiet Ready and BlueChew Gold?
Gold has a fourth ingredient, oxytocin, and three fixed strengths. Ready has three ingredients, comes as a troche, and Rugiet says the doctor customizes the strength. Both dissolve under the tongue and are prescribed online.
Is Rugiet cheaper than BlueChew?
At the same strength they are almost identical: $19.96 a dose for 24 doses a month on monthly billing at 110 mg sildenafil and 22 mg tadalafil. Rugiet says Ready is about $11.69 a dose at that strength on its best rate versus $12.99 for Gold Extra quarterly. BlueChew's single-ingredient SIL from $3.53 is cheaper than any Ready dose.
Are Rugiet and BlueChew FDA-approved?
No. Both brands state their products are compounded and not FDA-approved. FDA-approved generic sildenafil and tadalafil tablets are available from other providers at lower prices.
Do Rugiet and BlueChew both contain apomorphine?
Yes. Rugiet Ready and BlueChew Gold both contain apomorphine. BlueChew's single-ingredient SIL, TAD and VAR do not. Do not take apomorphine with 5-HT3 anti-nausea drugs such as ondansetron.
How long do Rugiet and BlueChew last?
Both say up to 36 hours for their tadalafil-containing products. Rugiet says Ready typically lasts 24 to 36 hours. BlueChew says SIL and VAR last 4 to 6 hours.
What is cheaper than Rugiet and BlueChew?
FDA-approved generics. Nu Image Medical lists generic sildenafil as low as $3 and tadalafil as low as $5 per tablet on a 12-month supply, and HealthyMale lists generics from about $20 with no subscription. Provider-published prices; verify current terms.
